This role supports a Navy customer in Lexington Park, Maryland.
Job Description and Responsibilities: We are seeking a Cost Analyst to support financial management activities for RDTE infrastructure and Digital Deployed Solutions within a NAVAIR-aligned environment. This role supports cost tracking, funding execution, and financial reporting across multiple divisions, ensuring accurate alignment of costs to RDTE funding lines and program objectives.
• Support budget execution, forecasting, and cost tracking
• Maintain cost visibility by division, agreement, and funding line
• Perform variance analysis (planned vs. actuals)
• Assist in developing cost estimates for RDTE infrastructure and deployed systems
• Support financial reconciliation and audit readiness
• Prepare reports and briefings using Excel and PowerPoint
• Attend recurring meetings (external and internal)
Basic Requirements:
• 1–4 years of experience in cost analysis or financial management
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Knowledge of DoD financial management principles, including RDTE funding
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across divisions
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Experience supporting NAVAIR or DoD programs
• Familiarity with RDTE funding execution
• Experience with NHDSM or similar systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Security Clearance: Secret or above (must be a US Citizen)
Telework and Travel: Hybrid. 2x per week on-site. <5% Travel
Contract: This position is supporting an active, funded contract.
