We are excited for the opportunity to bring aboard highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our team. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Technical Analyst / Systems Analyst to support Production efforts. The Technical Analyst will be an integral part of the team, supporting the AIRWorks Deputy Director (DD), as well as the AIRWorks Integrated Project Team Lead (IPTL). Qualified individuals will have prior experience supporting and managing APSD MRB Liaison activities by providing hands-on technical guidance.
 

Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Assist and provide technical guidance in the new NAVAIR Mission Aligned Organization (MAO) Airworthiness initiative using extensive commercial/civil aircraft engineering and certification experience
  • Support C-27J Focused Technical Assessment (FTA) activities both domestic and international, based upon previous commercial/civil technical engineering and certification experience
  • Oversee technical adjudications related to airframe design concerns raised by either the OEM, APSD, or NAVAIR SMEs
  • Review and evaluate APSD Production activities providing insights into streamlining activities or areas of improvement

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned responsibilities
  • Familiarity with NAVAIR SETR events
  • Familiarity with NAVAIRINST 13034 and MIL-HDBK-516

Required Education & Qualifications:

  • MS/BA in a relevant field OR
    • BS/BA with 14+ years of relevant experience OR
    • AS/AAA with 16+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate well and effectively within in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain at least a Secret security clearance
    • US Citizenship is required
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extreme attention to detail
