Currently, we are seeking experienced Flight Test / Electrical Engineers to support the Integrated Mission Avionics Test and Evaluation (IMATE) division at NAS in Patuxent River, MD. Qualified candidates will have experience writing and executing test plans for radar and other communication system upgrades to the E-2 Hawkeye and other aircraft platforms.

Responsibilities may include the following:

• Perform exceptionally well within a highly dynamic team, in a fast-paced testing environment
• Support the team by working on innovative technologies to maintain air superiority in support of Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission areas.
• Plan and execute testing activities
• Perform data analysis, and report for testing of E-2D capabilities in support of mission effectiveness
• Tasking may include similar support of capability-specific testing using Mission Based Test Design processes.
• Rely on engineering experience in regards to radar and communication system upgrades in order to effectively support the team and its mission

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in the above-mentioned responsibilities
• Knowledge and experience with NTWL test and evaluation processes, interoperability, system of systems, mission systems integration, mission based testing, with strong communication and interpersonal skills is required
• Specific experience with testing of NIFC, data links, airborne radar, and/or data fusion is preferred
• Knowledge of phased array radars, radar theory and electronic warfare highly desired
• Knowledge of tactical data links, including Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) and/or Link-16 highly desired
• Knowledge of and test experience with E-2 systems and/or the Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission areas is highly desired

Required Education & Qualifications:

• MS in an Engineering discipline is highly desired
  • BS/BA is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP Secret security clearance
  • US Citizenship is required
