This role supports our Navy customer in the Metro, DC area. The selected candidate will be able to work 100% remote. However, Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC candidates preferred.

Job Description and Responsibilities:  Formulates/defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects.  Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.  Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.  Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.  Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.  Has good understanding of the business or function for which applications is designed.  

Basic Requirements: May require a master’s degree and/or Ph.D.; at least 12 years of experience in the field or in a related area.  Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks.  May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. May lead and direct the work of others.  May report to an executive or director. 

Education Requirements: Bachelors degree may be required.

Security Clearance:  Secret clearance. (must be a US Citizen)
